I was the Texture Supervisor for Valerian at ILM. Our team worked on the entire Big Market sequence as well as a few other shots. The texture artists were responsible for not just textures but a lot of the look dev as well as splitting some zbrush work with the model team. Besides shop fronts, props and the battle bus, we also had to texture and look dev well over a 100 aliens (including variations). We worked very closely with the model and generalist teams as well as working with the small look dev team for the hero assets.
