I was Lead Texture/ Look Dev artist For Rise of the Planet of the Apes at Weta Digital. I had the chance to work on a few great assets such as Cornelia (Caesar's love interest) as well as work on the entire end battle sequence for the Golden Gate Bridge. I worked closely with Michael Cox, who was the Technical Texture Supervisor at the time, to develop an almost fully procedural and tileable way of tackling the entire bridge. We worked closely with the model and shader writer teams on best ways to create the iconic bridge in a realistic environment. We brought on a small team of texture artists afterwards to help deal with specific hero shots and destruction that was needed. We wouldn't have been able to get the quality of the look of the apes without the insight and help of Gino Acevedo, who was not only the Texture Supervisor but Digital Art Director for the project.

I worked on the textures and look dev for the bridge alongside Michael Cox and the rest of our small team. I was also responsible for the BG ape textures and look dev setup for the Massive crowd team.
